About the Company
We are a modern life insurance company operating in the Czech Republic since April 2019, in Slovakia since October 2021 and in Poland since January 2024. Simplea was created from scratch, based on our dreams and ideas. Our idea was to prove that life insurance could be done other than as established, through returning to the roots of insurance, which was about compassion and mutual help. And we are successful in that. We are not burdened by corporate customs and regulations. We have combined smart technology with common sense and created a life insurance policy that guarantees its clients indemnity in case of an insurance claim as the only policy on the insurance market. Our life insurance focuses on covering serious life situations that leave people without income. And when these situations arise, we want to help quickly. The Simplea team consists of 70 employees (including board members).
In 2024, we expanded our offering to include Long Term Care Insurance, which is very topical given the aging population. This insurance will ensure that the client or the client's family member can be quickly placed in a residential facility that offers a high level of the necessary care and services.
We insure people's essentials, i.e. life, disability, care dependency and loss of income.
We value a human approach and common sense.
Guarantees payment of indemnity in 99% of cases. We pay even if we don't have to.
We don't keep the unpaid money, but send it to charity.

He studied financial mathematics and actuarial theory at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague. He started his career as actuary in 2008.
Since 2019, he has been CEO and Management Board Chairman of Simplea, the life insurance company built by himself. In addition, he holds the position of CEO and Board Chairman at the Rentea penzijní společnost, a.s., pension company.

He received his education at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, majoring in informatics. He has more than 16 years of experience in insurance.
In Simplea pojišt'ovna, a.s., the insurance company, and Rentea penzijní společnost, a.s., the pension company, he holds the position of IT Director and Vice-Chairman of the Board.
